Election Information
The next Election Day is Tuesday, April 7, 2026

Ways to vote:
Absentee ballot by mail. Absentee ballots will be sent by mail beginning around March 13 and can be requested now through April 2. To request an absentee ballot, click here.
Early voting (absentee ballot in person). The clerk will be at the town hall for early voting on Tuesday, March 31 from 3-6pm. Bring an acceptable photo ID.
You can also register to vote at this time. Along with photo ID, you will need to bring proof of residence.
You can ask to vote early by appointment with the clerk. Send an email with preferred date(s)/time(s) between March 24 and April 5. (Appointments are dependent on availability; the clerk is part time and does not work at the town hall.)
At the polls on Election Day. The polls are open from 7am to 8pm on Tuesday, April 7. You must bring a form of acceptable photo ID. You can also register to vote on Election Day with photo ID and proof of residence.
You must be a US citizen to vote, but you do not need to show proof of US citizenship.

Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on all election days. The polling place is the Lucas Town Hall, E2301 State Road 29.
