Property Taxes
Tax bills were mailed on December 9, 2025.
Payments on or before January 31, 2026 were payable to the Town of Lucas.
Any payments made AFTER January 31, including second installment payments due by July 31, are payable to the Dunn County treasurer and should be mailed or dropped off directly to their office or paid online. The Town of Lucas treasurer cannot collect any taxes received after January 31 and payments sent to the town treasurer will be returned to you. The County Treasurer’s Office will assess interest on unpaid or late taxes.

Important Tax Dates:
January 31: first installment of taxes due to the Town of Lucas treasurer
July 31: second installment of taxes due to the Dunn County treasurer
Lottery Credits
Lottery credits are applied to the parcel that contains the residence you own and is your primary residence as of January 1, 2025. If you can’t find a lottery credit or don’t believe you received one, please email Amber Jackson, Town of Lucas treasurer.
You will need to complete an application online at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue website (click here) by January 31, 2026.
A manual credit can be given at the time you pay your taxes.
